Plantic is an Aussie-based company that makes cornstarch-based bioplastics. The corn used is non-GMO. Click the above link for a short intro* to the company and its products. I just found out about this company and cannot endorse it just yet. But Plantic is a step in the right direction for Planet Earth. Yes, we need to reduce, recycle, clean up and so forth. If we can reduce our appetite for beef and pork-based products we can have more land available to grow corn for bioplastics. Better yet, legalize hemp. (Oops, sorry, this is Planet Earth, where natural sensible ways are illegal. Excuse me.) You see my point: our petrochemical and toxic culture is clogging the lifeblood of this planet. Here in Japan, we burn most of our garbage. You need far less fuel burning biodegradables; besides, they don't release shit that's gonna hurt you. Biodegradable is the way ahead.
Some of the companies making biodegradables are going to be the next thousand baggers in the stock market. It is insane to continue making poisonous petrochemicals. Is Plantic a strong buy and hold?
*In the second video at this link we see the DuPont Awards given to various Aussie and NZ companies, including Plantic. I guess when the super rich see their own petrochemical wastes washing up on their own private beaches, some of them figure it's time to change.
The amount of toxic, non-biodegradable petrochemical plastic we use (cigarette butts, tampons, diapers, condoms, packaging, shopping bags, consumer products galore) and trash everyday is shocking. The world's media is fixated on the evil's of plant food and so we ignore real problems like plastic. The solution is simple: legalize hemp and make our plastic biodegradable. But that's expecting too much for an insane planet so Canadian high school student Daniel Burd's microbes (Sphingomonas and
Pseudomonas) might be a second best solution.

Close to 90 people kill themselves daily in Japan. They can't adapt to a sick society; "normal" people can. Japan, moreover, is an intensely crowded country. Problem: Central banks create inflation by increasingly monetizing debt (unbeknownst to the masses). Thereby they dilute the underlying value of the respective currency be it the yen, dollar, euro, peso, rupiah, what have you. Governments, the UN, the mass media never talk about this because the bankers own the world and want to hide their dirty usurious secret. Instead, these parties involved in this deception blame the "business cycle", "peak oil" or any other diversion. Illuminati social and psychological engineers create order out of chaos. Inflation is a hidden tax and that means unless your income rises along with inflation your buying power shrinks. This leads to--but not necessarily--individual and social distress. Distress creates other problems that need medication, more police on the streets to fight crime, more prisons.
Reaction: For God's sake, do something.
Solution: Bankers monetize more debt and further inflate the money supply and tax your genitals even more. It's a vicious cycle.
The world's number one political issue right now is who gets to make money. If you let private usurious bankers do it with their fake money made out of nothing with interest paid on top, you're going to have inflation. Since 1933, the USA has been bankrupt* and operating under maritime law as a democracy, not the republic it was originally intended to be.
