The European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) and its $6 billion experiment the Large Hadron Collider (LHR) is about to be turned on finally after many delays. It's job is to find out what makes matter matter. Why is your body apparently solid? What makes substance substantial? The hitherto world's largest particle accelerator and smasher--also the biggest and most expensive scientific experiment to date--hopes to find out. It wants to find the so-called Higgs particle, the most basic of particles making up anything in the universe. By recreating conditions in the universe's first billionth of a second (assuming the Big Bang) LHR hopes to find Higgs. As this AP article points out, however, some are concerned the super-high energies created at LHR will make black holes that will destroy not only Geneva (where it's located) but also the rest of Earth. So later this year if you find yourself and your neighborhood being sucked into a cosmic vaccuum cleaner, you'll know who to blame--those damn Swiss, home to two black holes, the BIS and LHR.
A shame isn't it, Deek? We have this wonderful blue beautiful marble orbiting a fantastic star we call the Sun. We live in an equally marvelous ocean of countless other stars and galaxies. Wonder of wonders. Yet, our planet is run by criminal gangs enslaving humanity who trash the home we all live on and at the same time tell us to panic about the dangers of plant food. The gangsters we're talking about are not the type the politics of language lead you to imagine--uncouth Mafia, Yakuza, Chinese triads, urban gangs everywhere--but ones wearing the best suits and parading themselves as heroes (or those we never hear and read about operating Behind the Curtain).

This
article is 100% garbage. I work at Prudhoe Bay at the top of Alaska and
I can assure everybody that as of 2 1/2 weeks ago , when I last
checked, the sea was still frozen on the beach. Temperatures have only
just started to warm up in the last week, as this is the Arctic summer.
Our winter was particularly cold with blizzards in May. Some of the
many lakes around prudhoe bay are still frozen. Please report the truth from people that have actually been to some of these places.--Bob Burk commenting about the below article.

The Independent is as independent as today's America is free. This is an example of broadsheet propaganda. First, records of the Arctic ice sheet go back to prehistoric 1972. Second, there are active volcanoes under the North Pole.

Besides, assuming this news is true, we'd better get our Made in Tennessee Global Warming Life Boats ready. We've heard about melting ice caps and glaciers and rising sea levels for at least twenty years now. (Silly me, every time I visit the sea anywhere, the sea level is the same as it's always been.) So if the Arctic ice sheet finally melts completely this summer, heaven forbid, get out of Yokohama, Kobe, Osaka, London, New York, Hongkong, Los Angeles, Sydney, Rio de Janeiro--NOW! While you have a chance.
Either that or remain unmoved in the face of the latest desperate New World Order attempt at diverting you from real issues like the Bank for International Settlements enslaving the planet.
