Dr Rima Laibow of the Natural Solutions Foundation speaks.
The Codex Alimentarius (Latin for "food rules") is a UN-born WTO-backed set of rules to regulate everything we put into our mouths aside from pharmaceuticals. Laibow argues http://www.healthfreedomusa.org/index.php?page_id=162 Codex is tyrannical because it benefits multinational pharmaceuticals mostly at our expense. These large corporations want to control our marketplace choices regarding health. Got a cold? Vitamin C is illegal so try new extra strength Bufferin. Got cancer? Forget toxic apricot pits. You need chemotherapy.
Consumers still have some freedom as to what they put into their mouths aside from what big pharma sells. Health food stores offering supplements could face closure if Codex rules Earth starting the last day of 2009.
Laibow's message isn't surprising. Monopolies, starting with central banks, are looking for new ways to further concentrate their power. Pharmaceuticals, agribusiness, biotechnology, petrochemicals don't want natural, Earth-friendly options in the marketplace. They want this already toxic planet even more toxic. Lies are pushed as the truth. Truth is pushed aside as nonsense. We live in a topsy turvy world. Doctors can save your life; we shouldn't forget this. But iatrogenic sickness and death is a crisis few acknowledge because the mass media monopoly direct our attention to the dangers of plant food (CO2) and to bogeymen in Hindu Kush caves.
Part 1of 5 Codex Alimentarius is an attempt to overturn existing US laws in favor of pharma-friendly international trade rules. Codex is a threat to human health, human rights, and national sovereignty.
In some restaurants, you'll be getting more than just the lemon you're adding to your drink! One minute.
In this video, Dr. David Holt, the leading U.S. physician in German New Medicine, explains that the conventional explanation for heart attacks may not be accurate at all. Conflicts involving territorial loss -- such as losing a family member, your home, or your financial stability -- cause changes in the coronary arteries of all animals -- including humans.
It is possible to obtain most of your nutrition from food, but most people don't eat fermented food and benefit from this. This blogger's suggestion is to eat probiotic kefir.
Milk and milk products have been the food staple of mankind since the beginning of recorded history. They are truly the one food source that has allowed us to become civilized and to develop societies as we know them today.
But now, milk has a bad name. Is it the milk itself or is it the way that it is being processed and delivered in this corporate farming world we now live in? Are the problems we see a result of pasteurizing and homogenizing, which are relatively new developments in the history of milk?
Iatrogenesis, doctor-induced sickness and death, is one of the most underreported facts of modern life. Allopathy saves lives; let's not forget this. However, visiting a hospital can also be hazardous. Arab cavemen killed 3,000 people on 9/11; the number of terrorist-related deaths hasn't changed in America since then, yet there has been an expensive "War on Terror" waged on the guys in caves who still can't be located. Moreover, 9/11 is the excuse to dismantle the Bill of Rights, step by step. Since 9/11, iatrogenic deaths are off the charts in comparison to deaths attributable to crazy Arab cavemen. If Al Gore were to correctly demonize anything he might start by picking our increasingly toxic food supply, our equally poisonous lifestyles, and a medical system born to a mother called MSG and a father called UN.
